Kingsley Optical's History

Bob Spurrier started Kingsley Optical in 1978 with the intention of providing the most accurate and highest-quality eyeglasses in the Dallas area. With a full-service lab and a team of certified opticians, Kingsley Optical became one of the most trusted places to get glasses. (Even the doctors go there.)

In 1984, Bob's son Robert joined the team, starting in the lab. Robert worked his way up the ladder and quickly excelled. In 1995, Robert went to work for American Optical as a territory manager, teaching continuing education to certified opticians and broadening his knowledge of the optical industry. In 2013, Robert took over Kingsley Optical.

Now, over four decades later, Kingsley Optical is enriched with knowledge and high-quality eyewear. Remember — modern technology with old-fashioned customer service.
